When in Switzerland - choose Public Transport !It's cheaper and faster to travel to Zurich from Schaffhausen, where I live, than it is to drive!
The parking for a 4 hours is about 15 CHF ( Swiss Franc) and a day ticket that allows you to travel on the bus, train and tram system is about the same. This is a 24 hour ticket so you can make as many trips as you want. You don't even need to stamp it!
The picture above is from inside a Tram , just outside the Zurich hbf ( Main Rail Station ) it is very clean ( Both the tram and the station ) and the electronic TV you see in the Tram, signals the stops as they arrive.
The last tram I took was in Calcutta.. another stroy altogether !!
